University of Richmond

Fellowships

When students are selected to participate in the Richmond Scholars program, it's because they have demonstrated extraordinary academic achievement, exceptional personal qualities, and potential for ongoing contributions to society. Four years later, those same attributes make Richmond Scholars likely candidates for national fellowships. Faculty mentors work with Richmond Scholars to advise them on their post-graduate plans and even, in many cases, guide them through preparing for the competitive fellowship application process. Scholars are encouraged to consider fellowship opportunities early in their academic careers in order to thoughtfully and thoroughly build their application. Richmond Scholars who are interested in being advised on the fellowship application process should begin by contacting the Richmond Scholars program office at scholarsoffice@richmond.edu.
