Hello, prospective Scholars! My name is Alexis, but you can call me Lexi! I’m a sophomore at UR and I’m so excited to get to know you all! Here are a few things about me:

My passions are books and politics and, in addition to my classes, I spend a lot of time volunteering for political campaigns. My goal is to go to law school after graduating from UR and I’m hoping to be able to be a speechwriter for politicians. I’m an Oliver Hill Scholar as well as a Richmond Scholar and I’m an active member of Richmond Mock Trial, Richmond Debate, and Interpoint. I’m even a member of the Knitting Club (though I crochet)! I highly recommend joining a Living Learning Community as I participated in Endeavor and am currently in an SSIR.

The Richmond Scholars program was the chance of a lifetime, and I can honestly say that I would not wish to go to college anywhere else. The faculty here is fantastic and they all want you to succeed. The University of Richmond is a land full of opportunity and I’d love to help you all find the best ones for you. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to reach out! I’m happy to chat about the Scholars Program, extracurriculars, or even Harry Potter trivia! I hope to see you all around campus!
