Richmond Scholars Selection
To apply for the Richmond Scholars program, all interested students must complete the following:
- Submit a complete admission application by December 1.
- The final test dates accepted for Richmond Scholars consideration are the October ACT and November SAT administrations. Test scores are optional for first-year students entering in 2024 and are not required for consideration for the Richmond Scholars program.
Students who are selected to advance to the finalist round will be notified of their status in the Spider Portal by February 1; those students whose applications do not advance to the finalist round will not be notified. An announcement will be posted on https://scholars.richmond.edu once all finalist notifications have been sent.
Finalists will be invited to interview with a faculty selection committee via Zoom in mid-February. Final selection of Richmond Scholars will be completed by March 1.
